Betsy and Matt are a story of opposites attract: she's outgoing and chatty; he's quiet and reserved. But, together, they make a wonderful couple. And their wedding was no less wonderful. Going with an "icy winter forest" theme, we used ghost white, ice blue, and platinum colors; snow ball votives; snowflake adornments on the cake; and silvered tree branches to turn the Drees Pavilion into a heavenly winter wonderland. One of the most interesting touches were the white hydrangeas and silver branches decorating the head table. Set inside a recessed trench, they appeared to be blossoming up out of the table.
