Melissa and Mark entered their marriage with three children each, so as a symbol of their commitment to their new family, the focal point of their ceremony was a "community candle" — one large candle surrounded by six smaller ones. Their magical, family-oriented wedding and reception at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hotel included warm fall colors (bronze, nutmeg, and caramel), a customized aisle runner and a profusion of magnificent flowers. As guests entered the reception, they were given personalized candles in glass vases surrounded by coffee beans. These served three purposes: escort cards, table votives and unique wedding favors.
