Michelle and Edward's wedding was special for a myriad reasons. To begin, we used Michelle's stunning Vera Wang dress as inspiration for the event's look and feel. The dress's ruffled skirting, smooth bodice, and jeweled belt influenced the lavish ruffled chair decor, silk-smooth cake, white frilly flowers and votive candles surrounded by soft gels. Michelle loves Paris, so we transformed the Hilton Netherland Plaza's Hall of Mirrors into a ballroom reminiscent of Versailles. But the most special element of Michelle's wedding was the fact that nine months before, she met her long-lost birth father… and he walked her down the aisle!
